Over the past few years, I’ve realised that honesty shouldn’t only exist in my music but also in the way I present myself. For a long time it felt safe to release music under the name The Indien. At the same time, I noticed that it wasn’t always clear who or what The Indien actually was, and in some ways I was hiding behind that name. If I’m asking people to meet me in the honesty of my songs, it only feels right to meet them there as myself as well.

So, for the sake of a reintroduction: hello, my name is Rianne.
